Happy 20th!

A little too late for this post but still I would want to post it up! It is our 20^th and I always love this day so much. At the same time, it’s also sister day with the girls. Sadly, we still didn’t really get to meet up. Hopefully there will be more chances when Baoling is back.

Since it was our special day, as usual we went out for a date! Every outing and date with boyfriend always makes me very excited. I love going out to different places with him to explore with him! And he is also my trusty photographer who captures all the special moments and OOTD for me! Where can I find such an awesome boyfriend! And someone who always forgives me for all the things and words I have said, for always being so understanding. Truly blessed to have him around with me! 

And so we made a trip down to Waffle Slayers for some waffles! I had wanted to go since long ago and we were finally there! Glad that it drizzled a little and the Sun was not as hot as usual. As usual, a coffee and waffle to share! It was a little crowded but we were really lucky and manage to secure a table.

It was around 5 when we were done, and we made our way done to Jcube for dinner. I guess that explains why I haven’t been losing weight lately. Dinner at Crystal Jade at Westgate! The day just got better with more and more food. I guess our appetite has just started growing bigger as the day goes by.

Happy 18th // Birthday Celebrations!

Shall do a quick update before I start studying for my 3^rd paper on Friday! 2 down, and 2 more to go! I can’t wait for all this to end. And just 1 more week to Phuket with my dearest! Looking forward to all the amazing adventures that we are going to have for the following week. And also to just spend rest of the time together with you before internship starts! So many things that I want to do!! Meanwhile, I can only drown myself with notes and more notes. Love studying with boyfriend because I am more focused when I’m with him.

Haven’t been updating this space for 2 weeks, so I thought, I should at least update it a bit before I get started with my work again.

It had been a hectic week, but I am truly happy to have you with me. For encouraging me, to continue on and never lose hope in me! <3

Last weekend was quite a busy week because there were 2 birthday celebrations! 1 more boyfriend’s mom and the other one for grandma! 2 consecutive days of good food, and I gained the weight that I have took to lose over the week. Like that, how to wear nice clothes in Phuket?

Happy Birthday to Grandma! Thanks for all the love you had given to me all these while! For always ensuring that things don't go wrong and bringing me up and becoming who I am right now! really thankful to have you around! You and grandpa have always been really important to me! Love you! 

The week before, boyfriend and I also went out for a quick date to celebrate our 1.5years together! Quick dinner in town over at Koh Grill Sushi bar, because we were suddenly craving for unagi sushi! And also birthday celebrations for Elrin on the following day! Nothing much to share, cause I cant exactly remember what happened but just some photos!

Happy 17th!

Happy 17^th to my dearest boy!

Another month for us! Can never be more thankful to have you with me to spend this special day of every month with you! It doesn’t always have to special every month, probably just some quality time together, catching a movie and having a meal together is good enough. I guess when the both of us start to work; we probably wouldn’t have the luxury of time to do all these. And we may not be able to see each other as and when we please. I definitely treasure the time that we have now!

We started the day of with my monthly affair at Browhaus with Susan my trusty therapist as for now. I have to get my eyebrow fixed every month because the slightest hair that grows out will make me feel weird. I guess it’s a thing. I have tried other therapist but most often messed it up, giving me a high low brow.

The movie that we watched was Mr Peabody and Sherman! When I first saw the trailer, I knew I have to watch it! Sounds exaggerating but I must say it’s quite a cute show. As usual, we went to find somewhere to get our coffee fixed and stomachs satisfied. Headed over to Coffee Bean and find ourselves a comfortable seat. It has become almost a weekly thing for us to just sit in café to just relaxed and do nothing. I wonder is it a good or a bad thing. Besides eating, we also talked about some things. Then we headed off for some shopping. Walking rounds just to find a pair of new shorts but luckily we did manage to find one!

By the time we were done, it was already past 7. We headed down to city hall for dinner. The golden question we always ask, “What shall we have for dinner?” I guess this happens to everyone. It was a Friday night and everywhere was so packed with people. Dinner at a decent restaurant has a waiting time of approximately half an hour. I’m not exactly complaining but was just thinking that maybe Friday night isn’t a good time to dine out after all but then again it’s Friday night, nobody likes to stay home after a long week of work. Everyone wants to be out to pamper him or herself together with their friends but then again no one likes to squeeze with the crowd. What an irony. Okay, so in the end, we settled ourselves with Poulet for dinner. Not really satisfying but good enough to fill my tummy. Headed back home thereafter.

I wanted to blog on the day itself but then couldn’t find a good time to do it and thought maybe a late post could still work. So summarising, going into the 17^th month of the relationship, I am really thankful for everything.

Thankful to have such a tolerating boyfriend who had withstand all the tantrums and nuisance I have made over the past 17 months and still love me as much. To be ever supportive of everything I do, and no matter what the outcome is, and still standing by me. For always be there to encourage me to keep going and never give up, whenever I came up with all sorts of excuses to put things off (eg. Running). And to always cheer me up despite me pulling a long face whenever I look super sian and tired after a long day. I promise to change for the better okay! Hehehe! And of course, for taking good care and feeding me well with food! Love you!

Happy 1st year!

Today is a special day and it marks the first anniversary with boyfriend! Even though we are miles apart right now, and can’t celebrate this special day together. I know you will still be there for me. J

We can always make it up during December! The thought of spending this December over at Taiwan together with you just make me so excited! We can just do whatever we like, and go around exploring places together. Life is so great!

The time we had been waiting for to open the gift that we had made for each other a few months back is finally here! Though I had accidentally peeped into it the other time, I’m still very excited to open it! Nothing beats a handmade gift from boyfriend! And, thanks for being so on time to wish me and to post photo of us on instagram. Always making me smile with the things you said. Can never love you more than anything!

For this 1 year, I’m really thankful to always have you by my side through the good and the bad times! For always encouraging and supporting me with whatever things I do! And also guiding me along with all the tough decisions I had in life. For all the happy moments we spent together it will always be stored in my heart. Many more years to go together! Lalala! Can’t wait for more things to be done together! I need to create another new list of things that we have to do together for the next few months.

Taiwan Part I Day 3 & 4

3^rd Day of the trip, we decided to just walk around and shop. So I managed to buy so many clothes on that day! All thanks to boyfriend who help me with choosing and everything else! J And also a new top from boyfriend again! Yayy! So we woke up late again cause of us were really tired after the late night movie the previous night. We headed out for brunch at this Ramen place that boyfriend recommended. I think it should be quite famous since there were already so many people queuing for it within an hour of opening!

After eating, we went around to shop again and to change into a new outfit! In the new outfit!

And oh ya!!! I got a new toy and it's named Xiao Bai! Boyfriend and I went to play some toy catching machine and he managed to catch me this rabbit on his first attempt and I was so shocked and happy!

Done with Ximending so we decided to go somewhere else and we headed to Minquanxi Station and we actually walked for like so many stations! From Minquanxi to Shuanglian and all the way back to Taipei Main Station! Our legs were already breaking by then. Though it was tiring, but it was a good experience for me! Just walking around randomly in another country and exploring it by ourselves. If only it wasn’t raining.

Finally reaching Taipei Main Station, we quickly settle ourselves at a café to have our teabreak and also to rest our dying legs after the hours of walking! Here’s what we have and the price of everything is reasonable too!

After we were done with the shopping, we headed back to Ximending! And yes, we went back to the same shop to play with the catch toy machine! And this time round, I managed to catch a yellow ducky for boyfriend with my last $10 coin!! Couldn't be any happier than that! So it's called Xiaohuang!

One for the boyfriend and one for me! 

After having so much fun for the past few days, it's finally the last night. Feeling a little sad since both of us have to leave the next day! Couldn't bear to leave boyfriend after seeing him so I bugged him the whole night till late before allowing him to sleep! Haha!

So, it's finally the last day of the trip, waking up in the morning, rushing everywhere. Wanted to have lunch at DTF, but it was so packed so we could only stick to the food at the food court. Cabbed over to the airport and this time round it feels sadder than any other time. It's like as though we are forced to leave each other. Sounds so dramatic. But it's really quite sad. Was holding onto boyfriend so tight that I didn't want to let go.

Hello boyfriend! These 4 days had been really great to have you by my side! To just fly over to see you and have you around with me makes me so happy! Seeing you, makes me feel so relaxed. I have no idea why did I become so noisy and just cant sit still and just want to annoy you! Love having you with me, always holding onto my hands, taking care of me, hugging me and everything else! And I'm just anyhow updating the trip haha! So dont laugh at whatever I write. :P I can't wait for December to come so that we can have more fun together and have a good time before the school starts again! Miss you a lot and love you! Taiwan Part I Day 1 & 2

This recess week can never be any better than seeing boyfriend after 6 weeks! It was an impromptu trip to Taiwan but I’m really happy that I have decided to go over this recess week! Nothing beats having you around with me, doing all the crazy things together. The night before I fly, I was too excited that I couldn’t go back to sleep after waking up at 4 plus in the morning. It’s my first time traveling and taking the airplane alone. I guess I have really grown to become more independent? Or maybe because I know that there is someone waiting for me over at the other end. J

Finally the plane landed and I couldn’t wait to get out of the plane to meet the boyfriend who might already be there waiting for me. I walked at the fastest speed to wherever I need to be and tried connecting myself to the wifi. Haha sign of me being too anxious to see him!

After walking out of the arrival hall, I started looking around for boyfriend everywhere. Before walking out, I was already feeling so excited and at the same time thinking about how it would be like when we meet! So, we finally met and I’m beyond happy! First photo we took after seeing each other!

Headed down to the bus terminal after getting the phone card and everything else. Took a bus down to Taipei Main station and then to Ximending to check in to our hotel. Though the bus ride was super long, and both of us were super tired but I guess we were too excited and happy to rest on the bus.

The hotel that we stayed at was located near Ximending so it wasn’t that bad for us to get around everywhere. Made a quick purchase of our toiletries and check-in to the hotel and headed out for dinner. Both of us were already starving after 1 whole day of journey. Boyfriend brought me to had duck meat. Didn’t eat it the last time round when I went Taipei. And thankfully, I am able to bite already if not it would be a torture to see so many things and not being able to eat. We decided to have an early night rest after walking around.

Our OOTD for day 1! 

On the second day, we headed down to Jiufen and Shifen. Even though both of us had already gone before but boyfriend is still very nice to go there with me again. Just because I wanted to put the lantern since I didn’t manage to do it the other time as it was raining heavily. And of course this time round with someone special, everything else feels different! Since it’s going to be a long journey, we headed for brunch before going over. It takes us about an hour plus to reach Jiufen as we took bus up there. First time taking public transport up to Jiufen. This may be the third time I’m there, but it’s feels so different each time. First time round with secondary friends, second time with grandma and sis and now with the boyfriend. As soon as we reached, we started taking photo again.

Forever stuffing myself with so much food over there. We ate everything that is worth trying and eating again from the beginning till the end of the street. And, I even managed to get a pair of shoes over there! Thanks to boyboy to help me to pick it. Always like the weather there because it’s so cooling except for the rainy weather.

I guess I’m really quite unlucky whenever I’m there because it never fails to not rain. So we headed over to Shifen after Jiufen. The weather doesn’t look very promising so we quickly rushed over to the sky lantern shop to get ours written and all. We managed to have ours put before the rain falls. Yayy! After that, we just went around to start taking photos of ourselves! Spamming as many photos as we can.

Then, we headed down to Wufenpu to do some shopping. Didn’t really shop much but managed to get a pants for myself as recommended by boyboy. J And it turns out that it looks pretty good on me! J Boyfriend with good taste! Didn’t really shop much because there aren’t many things around since most clothes are meant more for cold weathers and I doubt I can really wear it back in Singapore. Had our dinner nearby and headed back for late movie! The first movie I watched in Taiwan and after so long: Young Detective Dee Rise Of The Sea! 

Boyfriend did a photo of me in Ximen station now and then! Quite funny.
