Boyfriend
and I have been constantly checking new cafes around in the neighbourhood over
the weekends when we are free. So recently, we managed to explore a few more
cafes that have been recommended online. Just last Saturday, we went to
Craftmen Specialty Coffee and I actually quite like it. They have a wide
variety of cakes and pastries to choose from, and they also have different
types of coffees made available for customers. We were so spoilt for choices.
There were so many things that I wanted to try, but then the both of us are
supposed to be on a diet, and our stomach was unable to contain that much food.
So we only managed to order a cake to share and a cup of coffee each. Most of
the cakes were chocolate flavoured, and there is also rainbow cake. But because
it is a little expensive, we didn’t really want to spend that much for a piece
of cake. Overall, the ambience of the café was quite good. Oh yes, there was
actually other food that is served by them, but because they didn’t provide us
with the menu, and it totally slipped my mind. It was only until I sat down,
then I realized there are actually buttermilk waffles, churros and many more
things available.
Previously, we had also been to this café located at Bedok:
Percolate. It was a really small café in the HDB area. I think woodlands should
have more of this! As usual, we bought a cup of coffee each and a cake to
share. Not really sure what was their best seller and bought a salted caramel
cake.
