Meetup with friends!

After coming back, I have been trying to catch up with most of my friends and keeping each other updated with our lives. Met up with the secondary school clique last Sunday. Although not everyone was there, but I guess the turned up rate was already quite good. Since all of us are already sick of the food in Causeway Point, we decided to head down to Westgate that is located at Jurong East to have something different. So we had Eggs & Berries for lunch! It was rather crowded when we reached, but we were quite lucky to get a seat soon. They provide quite a variety of food, and I gave their Egg Benedict a try. Something I thought that’s special about them is that they serve the Egg Benedict not just in pair but also in solo. We chatted over the meal and sat there for almost 3 hours. The topic just went on and on, about the future, our life and everything else. Definitely a good catch up but if only I wasn’t that tired on that day.

The time of the year to get fat is almost here! Last Saturday, I had the first CNY gathering with boyfriend over at Elaine’s house. And I can’t wait to have more of that the next few weeks.

Today, we headed down to Chinatown right after lesson to soak ourselves up with some CNY atmosphere. Personally, I feel that Chinese New Year is actually the time of the year when we get to meet all our friends and family but as year goes by, it feels like everyone is already starting to drift apart. All of us are getting busy with our own life and we hardly have the time to meet each other and to do visiting. Still, glad to have friends who made the effort to make gathering possible.

Every week, I look forward to the weekend because that’s the only time I can relax myself and spend quality time with boyfriend. Though we may just sit there, watch show and do nothing but I still enjoy the time we spent together. Thankful that I have more time this semester and that I'm not committed to anymore school activities. So I guess, there should not be any excuses of myself for not being able to do anything.
