Just yesterday I went for my first ever hot yoga class over
at Yoga Movement with Zaxe who introduced me there! They have 2 outlets, one at Carpenter Street and the other at Tanjong Pagar, which was the one that I went to. Had been
looking forward to it since last week and was hoping for it to be a pleasant
experience. But who knows, it turned out to be otherwise. Stepped into the
place with so much excitement but I didn’t even manage to survive through the
whole lesson. I started feeling a little giddy, and experienced a little of
blackout so inform the instructor right away and stopped whatever I was doing.
It was a little scary because I had never experience this before. The voice of
the instructor suddenly became softer. It did scare me a little. So, I was
asked to sit out of the class to get my body temperature back to normal. Kind
of disappointed but no choice. The weak body says no to it. After getting out
of the room, I was still feeling giddy and nausea. It took me almost 10 minutes
to recover. I guess maybe I should stop going for hot classes temporary.
But overall, I guess it is really a nice place to have yoga
lesson. So I have decided to sign myself up with 10 lessons right away. I told
myself even before I went that I need to be discipline and get myself moving. The
price of the package was pretty reasonable. For 10 lessons, I paid an amount of
$190. And my first lesson was free because I had decided to sign a package.
Otherwise, 1 lesson would actually cost $25. And since Zaxe referred me there,
both of us get a complimentary lesson added to our current packages. So in
total, I was only paying $190 for 12 lessons. Teehee. It was quite a good deal
for me. And so, I finally have one thing off my Todo list checked!
